Project for "Sentieri Creativi" - art call organized by Deparment of Youth Policies of the city of Bergamo, with a support of CAI (Italian Alpine Club).

Sentieri Creativi è un'iniziativa realizzata dall'Assessorato alle Politiche giovanili del Comune di Bergamo in collaborazione con Club Alpino Italiano .

The project strictly follows the scientific script I found while searching for the information about endemits in the Alps of Lombardy ("Aree prioritarie per la biodiversità nelle Alpi e Prealpi Lombarde" 2009), and more specifically the paragraph dedicated to the endemit species, animals or plants living explicitly in a certain territory, that are often under the risk of extinction.

I visualized the found information in 5 canvases - the found latin name and some characteristics of each species went transformed into a picture.

Il progetto prende forma dal testo dell‘opera scientifica: "Aree prioritarie per la biodiversità nelle Alpi e Prealpi Lombarde" dell’anno 2009. In particolare sviluppa il paragrafo dedicato alle specie endemiche presenti nel territorio delle Alpi Orobie. Endemite è un animale o un vegetale presente esclusivamente in un dato territorio e spesso corre seri rischi di estinzione. Le informazioni raccolte sono visualizzate in 5 tele ove il nome in latino della specie viene trasformato in immagine, forma visivamente concreta.
