reading the watching

2011 - 2013

Project in which I continue analysing human perception and the process of seeing.

I try to "read" the process when watching an object - I focus on my micro-eye movement that travels from one point to another of the seen, and I find out that only after focused on more important points of the watched object I perceive its whole shape.

Reading a still-life was the first painting of this collection. I was daily watching the objects of the still life after I selected the most attractive points - those I focused at spontaneously. The red line tries to involve the viewer to link (read) the points and follow my watching direction.
